 The Indian Air Force has announced an employment notification for the recruitment of AFCAT (01/2025) in various branches. The vacancies are for the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, and NCC Special Entry for courses beginning in January 2026.

Vacancy Details:

  1. AFCAT Entry

    • Flying Branch: 30 posts
    • Ground Duty (Technical): 189 posts
    • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 117 posts
  2. NCC Special Entry

    • Flying Branch: 10% of CDSE and AFCAT vacancies (both for PC and SSC)

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Age Limit:

    • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2006), with relaxation for CPL holders up to 26 years.
    • Ground Duty Branches: 20 to 26 years (born between 02 January 2000 and 01 January 2006).
  2. Marital Status: Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of training.

  3. Educational Qualification:

    • Flying Branch:
      • 60% marks in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level.
      • Graduation (3 years) with 60% or BE/B Tech (4 years) with 60% or equivalent.
    • Ground Duty (Technical):
      • BE/B Tech or equivalent in disciplines like Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronics, etc., with 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
    • Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
      • Graduation with 60% or equivalent in fields like Administration, Accounts, Meteorology, etc.
