Candidates who have completed their online application can download their admit card by following these steps once it is available:

  1. Scroll down to the Important Web Links section on this page.
  2. Click on the Assam Police Admit Card link.
  3. Enter your Application No., Name, and Date of Birth (in the format YYYY-MM-DD).
  4. Click on the Download Link.
  5. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Save and print it for future use.

Candidates will need to bring a printed copy of their admit card along with a government-issued photo ID, such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Voter ID, to the exam.

Selection Process for Assam Police Recruitment

The selection process for Assam Police recruitment includes several stages:

  1. Preliminary Document Verification: Candidates must present original documents for verification before proceeding with the PST and PET. Any discrepancies or submission of forged documents will result in disqualification.

  2. Physical Standard Test (PST): This test evaluates the physical measurements of candidates, including height, weight, and chest (for male candidates). Physical deformities, if detected, will disqualify the candidate.

  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

    • Race: Male candidates must complete 3200 meters in 14 minutes; female candidates must complete 1600 meters in 8 minutes.
    • Long Jump: Male candidates must jump 335 cm, and female candidates must jump 244 cm (3 attempts).
    • Chin-ups (for Male Candidates): A minimum of 4 chin-ups is required to qualify.
  4. Written Test: Candidates who pass the PST and PET will be called for the written test, which consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as:

    • Elementary Arithmetic
    • General English
    • Logical Reasoning/Mental Ability
    • Assam's History, Geography, Polity, and Economy
    • General Knowledge and Current Affairs

The total marks for the written test are 50, with half a mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking.
