Age Limit:
- Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- The upper age limit for candidates who clear all selection stages will be 21 years at the time of enrollment.

- Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized Education Board with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR a 3-year Engineering Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

- Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized Education Board with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR a 2-year vocational course from a recognized Education Board with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Medical Standards
- Height: Minimum height of 152 cm for male and female candidates. For candidates from North East or hilly areas of Uttarakhand, the minimum height is 147 cm.
- Chest:
- Male: Minimum chest circumference of 77 cm with an expansion of 5 cm.
- Female: Minimum chest expansion of 5 cm.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Hearing: Candidates should be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear.
- Dental: Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
- General Health: Candidates must be free from any active or latent medical or surgical disability, and should be physically and mentally fit to perform duties in any environment.
- Body Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are not allowed, except for tattoos on the inner face of the forearms or those following tribal customs.

Online Test of Agniveer Vayu Recruitment
Candidates who apply for Agniveer Vayu posts will have to appear for an Online Test. Provisional admit cards will be sent to eligible candidates 48-72 hours prior to the exam date. Candidates must report to the designated test center with a color printout of the Admit Card and an original Aadhaar card.
Exam Pattern:
- Type of Questions: Objective type
- Language: Bilingual (English & Hindi), except for the English paper.
- Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer.
Subjects:
- Science Subjects: 60-minute exam covering Physics, Mathematics, and English (10+2 CBSE syllabus).
- Other Than Science Subjects: 45-minute exam covering English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- Combined: 85-minute exam covering Physics, Mathematics, English, and Reasoning & General Awareness.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates who qualify the online test will be called for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), which includes:
- PFT-I: A 1.6 km run (Male: within 7 minutes, Female: within 8 minutes).
- PFT-II: After a short break, candidates will undergo a series of exercises:
- Male: 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats.
- Female: 10 sit-ups, 15 squats.
