- 12th class with Science Subjects from a recognized Board, and
- Two years Certificate in Architecture or Draughtsmanship from a recognized Institute; or
- National Trade Certificate for Draughtsman (Civil) with one year of practical experience.

- Qualification:
- Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Possessing National Cadet Corps ‘B’ Certificate or Ex-Naib Subedar (General Duty) from Army, Navy, or Air Force.

- Qualification:
- Turner Certificate from ITI / NCTVT / Defence Trade Certificate with one-year experience; or
- Passed Class II Course for Turner as per Defence Service Regulations.

- Machinist Certificate from ITI or equivalent; or
